  • Music, another skill for the folks

Thank to the confusion about musical copyrights for a project, we came up with the idea to produce a first track for a client in house. Instrumental music wasn’t something I hadn’t done before but when it’s for a client, you better have to analyse the project from another angle and bring a new approach of arguments.

Since the creation of Kinlake and even the few months I was working as an independent before, my passion for the music was only as a consumer rather than a producer. My personal music projects lost priority as the professional part was getting more and more busy. I’ve started at the age of 7, where many times I had to give priority to other things such as school, work or moving out of my parents place and renovate my apartment for one and a half year, but I have to admit that this time it’s different. With Kinlake and our project Orla Collective, I might have to compose and record some songs for the video productions we do, which is kinda perfect for not feeling like I leave music behind.

With basically only a music software, a guitar and a keyboard, a microphone and a lot of creativity, Kinlake is now able to work using another skill based on a long time passion and love. Music.

David is a dreamer in love with details and a geeky being with an ability to teach himself anything. He loves to experiment with photography and videography to tell real stories and emotions through images, and he never stops learning about how to make the best websites. Besides his passion for visual creativity, he is also a multidisciplinary self-taught musician who worked on several projects including his own solo career. During creative work days he likes to discover new music and to collect it – he’s the curator behind all of our Kinlake playlists!
