  • “Don’t Quit Your Daydreams”

I created a desktop wallpaper & A4 Printable that you might like, hoping that it might remind you of this essential factor in your life, get you motivated and well-fuelled every time you see it 🙂

We know for a fact that it’s very important to remind yourself what your dreams are, and never truly let them go away. Sure, some things can vanish with time, but those that you are passionate about should never be ignored or frowned upon. If you crave something, if you want to make something happen, if your gut feeling is boiling and your heart is warming at the mere thought of getting it done, please, for the love of your short and temporary life, go for it, or at least give it a shot.

A daydream is a very special thing. They say that “stress is caused by being here and wanting to be there“. You can understand this quote as a principle of mindfulness (it was first said by Eckhart Tolle). But you can also picture it as the representation of feeling trapped in a situation and not allowing yourself to have access to what truly makes you happy.

“If you could be anywhere right now, and do anything, where and what would it be?”

Your daydream might be about travelling the planet, to live the most odd experiences.. It might be about changing the world, even. Maybe it’s just about spending more time outside. Maybe it’s about this crazy idea you’ve had, or this skill you wanted to expand or cultivate. The people you wanted to meet. Or taking the dip into your creative musings and making a business out of your passion. Of course, some things are easier said than done, but hey, you can at least try to dip your toes in that water, see how it feels. Maybe it’s a sweet compromise that will possibly open new doors.

This is how it happened for us, at least. We just dipped our toes in the water, resisted getting out for a bit, and then here we are, wanting to swim deeper, see what we can find. We figured, if our daydream was about being happy & creative on a daily basis, we might as well just try to see how it feels. So here’s to beautiful daydreams.

She likes to experiment with illustration, hand lettering, and custom-made ideas that don’t always involve a computer and is striving to create unique imagery. She’s in love with all things natural, real and meaningful. Half-Luxembourgish and half-greek, she swears by cretan mountain tea from her homeland to keep her fuelled during busy days, and is an avid fan of Wes Anderson movies.
