When it came to color palettes, we knew this project was going to be anything but neutral & muted. However, it wouldn’t be very loud either in terms of color saturation, as the music is meant to be easygoing. So what we did was to simply follow the inspiration from life’s ideal symbol of serendipity: sunsets!
This inspired us to then explore further visual assets of the brand that would evoke beachy, casual vibes. We experimented with some rough hand lettering as well as processing photographs of palms we hot at a botanical garden in Chiang Mai. We then created a logo that would be minimal enough so it could be used as a discreet signature on records, complementing all of the playfulness of Lauren’s brand that would possibly evolve with time. With a few type manipulations it still had a unique flair of its own that makes it timeless.
