Can you feel the special vibes? It’s full moon tonight, folks!

Ok, by now, some of you may be rolling your eyes at this, but I swear, I’ve been feeling quite differently these past few days: overwhelmed, emotional, extremely awake to the point of burning myself up with thoughts.. And then I found out that the moon is just about to get full. Maybe it has something to do with that. Or maybe not.

It has happened before and quite often before a full moon. Not every month, but quite usually happens to be the case. It might be a coincidence, but then again it might not. Who knows?

I guess many things can be explained with science and this doesn’t, but we all know that science will never be able to confirm everything we can possibly know about this universe, simply because there are so many things that exist out of what we can perceive & understand. There are infinite amounts of frequencies we can’t hear, and things we can’t see. Just because things aren’t tangible or rational doesn’t mean they are absurd.

The moon fascinates me! David and I love to watch the full moon (check out this photo we took on a magical evening in Crete).

Anyway, I was inspired enough to turn my moon fascination into this little illustrative experiment you see above. Comparing the opening of the eyes (can even be interpreted as a third eye awareness) to the phases of the moon. Quite different than what I’m used to doing, but I like the result! Yup, I’m definitely into the mystical stuff today. What do you think?

Linda is a mediterranean wild spirit. People are her primary inspiration and shape her creative world. She likes to experiment with illustration, hand lettering, and custom-made ideas that don’t always involve a computer and is striving to create unique imagery. She’s in love with all things natural, real and meaningful. Half-Luxembourgish and half-greek, she swears by cretan mountain tea from her homeland to keep her fuelled during busy days, and is an avid fan of Wes Anderson movies.
