    Fundraising can be fun!

For their 100 years, the Luxembourgish Red Cross launches the « Challenge 100″, which calls anyone to participate with their own ideas, keeping in mind the count of 100.

As blurry as that seems, a communication agency called Comed found some inspiration in this challenge and pitched in their own bright idea: create a fundraiser action with the goal to sell 100 custom portrait illustrations at 100€/each, all of which would fund the Red Cross for a good deed. They called it « 100 Fancy Faces ».

I happily participated in this on-going illustration project among two other illustrators. It is a lot of fun to discover participants through the process. These are people I do not know, but once I have illustrated them it feels like I have gotten closer to getting to know them, each and every « Fancy Face of the story!

Linda is a mediterranean wild spirit. People are her primary inspiration and shape her creative world. She likes to experiment with illustration, hand lettering, and custom-made ideas that don’t always involve a computer and is striving to create unique imagery. She’s in love with all things natural, real and meaningful. Half-Luxembourgish and half-greek, she swears by cretan mountain tea from her homeland to keep her fueled during busy days, and is an avid fan of Wes Anderson movies.
